In 2016, Carlotta James and Megan Boyles co-founded Three Sisters Natural Landscapes in Peterborough, Ontario, driven by their shared passion for native plants and sustainable gardening. Their mission was to create a livelihood that not only deepened their connection with the land but also contributed to the local economy and promoted healthy environments for people, plants, and pollinators. Since then, they have made a significant impact, designing and installing pollinator-friendly gardens for homeowners, schools, and non-profits. Their work has garnered awards and widespread recognition, as they continue to advocate for pollinator health and biodiversity, one garden at a time. Through their efforts, Carlotta and Megan are helping to inspire and educate communities about the importance of native plants in fostering a healthier, more sustainable environment.
