What We Make

Bee Houses

Using primarily repurposed materials, Three Sisters designs and produces a variety of bee houses. Their prices range from $50 to $60 and can be found at a number of local shops - Avant-Garden Shop, Watson & Lou, and GreenUP Store, or by contacting us directly.
By providing urban homes for our native bee population, you are playing an important role in supporting the declining pollinator population.
Bee houses are particularly important for native bees because they generally travel up to 500 meters for their food. Some native bees nest in the ground or in holes in wood, such as those made by wood borers. We have created our bee houses to accommodate a variety of bee species.

Over 400 different types of native bees call Ontario home. We can't wait to see which ones decide to live in the bee houses, including Carpenter Bees, Leaf-Cutter Bees, Mason Bees, & Sweat Bees!
